TAURON is one of the largest companies in Poland, the largest electricity distributor and the second largest electricity provider.

CHALLENGE

The main requirement was to create a mobile application that would attractively display information on energy consumption downloaded from the smart meter. The application was made for iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms. This application is dedicated for a big buyers.

SOLUTION

- the application shows how much energy is being used during the day
- enable the analysis of energy consumption for end customers
- allows access to the current meter reading
- allows creating a savings plan by setting goals and notifications by sending e-mail and push notifications
- show state of energy meter for the given day
- show energy usage for the given day
- show energy usage realization in animated form

SUMMARY

Thanks to the use of Xamarin technology, we managed to achieve code sharing at the level of 80%, thanks to which we managed to significantly accelerate the development of the solution.
